Posted on: January 28, 2022

Leading uPVC manufacturer Euramax Solutions has successfully achieved ISO 14001, the international standard for Environmental Management Systems (EMS).

ISO 14001 provides a framework for establishing an effective EMS to measure and improve environmental impact.

The decision to work towards the accreditation came as part of a wider company development program focused on continuous improvement within the business, with the company also recently transitioning from Occupational Health and Safety Assessment Series (OHSAS) 18001 to ISO 45001.

It’s also recognition of Euramax Solutions continual commitment to following environmental best practices and its drive to meet its Environmental, Social, and Corporate Governance (ESG) standards alongside parent company Modular Group Investments Limited (MGI).

Euramax Managing Director Nick Cowley said: “As a business, we are firmly committed to environmental sustainability and achieving the ISO 14001 international standard demonstrates our long-term commitment to environmental protection by establishing the principles of an effective management system that follows environmental best practices.”

Working from a 205,000 square foot manufacturing facility, Euramax Solutions are a leading manufacturer of uPVC windows and doors, supplying to the off-site and modular construction sectors, national builders’ merchants, new build and holiday home and leisure markets.

“I’m proud that Euramax Solutions has been awarded ISO 14001, which recognises our investment in the business and the hard work of our dedicated team of people,” added Nick.

“Our environmental approach, initiated by company management and actively supported by employees, provides us with an opportunity to propose a more ethical way of operating, which is increasingly requested by customers and employees, and investors.”
